Well designed and implemented landscapes create space for humans to enjoy and wildlife to live. Combining my love of nature, and gardening I decided to become a Landscape Designer. I am focused on designing landscapes that support wildlife without sacrificing the aesthetic qualities of traditional landscapes. Thanks to growing consumer interest in the last 10-15 years, the diversity and quality of available native plants produced for sale has increased dramatically, and will continue to increase with the demand. Given the selection, and quality of native landscape plants that are available it is possible to design residential and commercial landscapes using predominately native plants, and your neighbors would never know unless you told them. With natural habitat disappearing more and more each year to human encroachment, it makes sense to create wildlife habitat within our maintained landscapes. Residential, and commercial landscapes can fulfill a broad range of ecosystem functions that are broadly beneficial to humans and wildlife.
